NAB 2009 was a hit, so much so that we’re already excited for next year.  And fortunately, the convention center’s air conditioning made up for the desert heat.

Feedback on our HD sound effects libraries was invaluable – the following features were received particularly well:

• Fresh, New Sounds: All Blastwave FX libraries are new, native 24/96 and recorded within the last three years. This gives you the advantage of using the most contemporary, realistic, and technically clean sounds. Sounds of the world change with time, and so should sound effects.
• Hard Drive | USB | DVD | Download: We deliver our libraries on multiple formats from larger libraries on Hard Drive (Blastdrive, SONOPEDIA, wavFX) to smaller, niche libraries on DVDs, USB drives and download.
• Spanning A to Z and then some: The Blastwave FX Catalog spans Ambiences to Zippers with all the Lasers, Whooshes, and Stingers you can handle in between.
• Blastwave FX Search Engine (Mac/PC): Crucial in today’s production workflow, our search engine allows you to efficiently Search, Browse, Audition and Drag N’ Drop into any application from Pro Tools to Avid and more.

Blastwave FX has released a Demo Video showcasing how Soundminer works with Blastwave FX sound effects libraries. The video features:

1. Importing audio files into Miniminer
2. Search options
3. Transfer methods
4. Pro Tools integration
5. Sounds from TITLEWAVE, The Production Elements Drive

All Blastwave FX libraries are enriched with Soundminer metadata and are available on Hard Drive, USB Flash Drive, DVD and Download.
All collections were produced in 24 bit /96k.
